Encounters of Hope provides a church outreach tool that is innovative and modern. We have created a way to share the message of Jesus outside the walls of the church building.
Our hope is to provide a way for your community to participate in the Great Commission proclaimed in Mark 16:15.

1. GATHER YOUR GROUP
Have your church members sign up for outreach in your local community to share the Gospel. We like to call them local mission trips!
2. BUY ENCOUNTERS OF HOPE GIFT CARDS
These can be purchased in any denomination and they are super simple to order!
3. DECIDE WHERE AND HOW YOUR GROUP WILL HAND OUT YOUR GIFT CARDS

Let the Holy Spirit be your guide. We believe in the power of prayer and direction from the Holy Spirit to guide us to exactly the people God would have each team member to encounter.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

It's a Gift Card
Our faith sharing is in the form of a gift card. All people...individuals, churches...whomever, can buy these gift cards and hand them out like you would a Christian tract. The gift card has money on it (any denomination the purchaser wishes).

Sharing the Gospel
These gift cards are unique because they share the Gospel. On the back of every card are instructions to activate the card. They are activated by going to our website where the viewer will see a very cool and modern interactive video sharing the message of Christ.

Using the Gift Card
After watching the interactive videos that share the Gospel, they can activate the gift card and choose where they would like to use the money. Some of our vendors include Amazon, and lots of entertainment, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Follow Up
During the activation process, we ask the recipient where they are in their spiritual journey. Based on their answers, we send them a customized curriculum that is relevant to their stage of life. You also get notified after they activate the gift card so you can see your gift at work.

CAR WASH
Wash cars for free- accept no payment and tell people what church you are from and why you are serving them. When members of the church feel led, they can give an Encounters of Hope gift card to someone’s car they are washing.
HOLIDAY GIFT BASKET
Deliver food baskets to families during holidays and include an Encounters of Hope Gift card, meet a need with the extra cash, but also share the hope you have found in Jesus.
FAST FOOD
Give an Encounters of Hope Gift Card to the car behind you in the fast food line. The cashiers are usually super pumped to help out. Another idea is to give a gift card to the cashier working the window. Or both!
WAITRESS
Debunk the stereotype that Christians are the worst tippers! Go out to eat on a Sunday, during the after church rush and bless your waitress with an Encounters of Hope gift card! This is one of our favorites and has become the norm anytime we go out to eat.
SMALL GROUPS
Small groups do an evangelism study and challenge each individual to share their faith using an Encounters of Hope gift card when finished. Go in groups or as individuals. Give them to strangers or people in their sphere of influence, offering prayer or conversation as the Holy Spirit guides. Make sure to have a debrief meeting to share all the amazing encounters!
KNOCK ON DOORS
If you have a door-to-door outreach ministry, but haven’t been able to get out the message of Christ to those you are trying to reach. Simply knock on the door with an Encounters of Hope gift card ready, hand them the FREE money, when they activate the card, the Gospel message is shared. Your next job is to revisit the home to follow-up!
